Double guarantee of «The High Five» and PokerKing Client Updates.

A few weeks ago, we announced PokerKing’s intention to host The High Five tournament series. At that time, it was a moderate guarantee of $ 5,000,000. But life and coronavirus made their own adjustments, because the prize pool was doubled. Another good news is that despite the quarantine, the planned improvement of the PokerKing client and other Winning Poker Network rooms does not stop.

Tournament Series High Five

The most important features of the upcoming series:

The total prize pool will be $ 10,000,000;
In the schedule of tournaments PokerKing announced 100 events;
In addition to No Limit Holdem there will be tournaments for PLO, PLO8 and even 7 Card Stud;
There will not be a single tournament with a million dollar guarantee, but every Sunday for three weeks players will be waiting for the Main Event with $ 840,000 in prize money;
The series starts on April 7, and ends on the 26th.
Buy-ins range from loyal $ 1.5 to tangible $ 5,000 (+ $ 150).

PokerKing client software updates (and other Winning Poker rooms)

Upcoming changes were announced last month. Among them was the emergence of the Chinese language and the addition of the function of converting stacks to the big blinds, as well as a new tab for tournaments with progressive knockout. All of this has really appeared on PokerKing.

How to convert stacks in the big blinds at PokerKing?

Go to the poker room client;
Click on “Options” (upper right of the PokerKing lobby);
Check the box “Show chips as big blinds”.

How to find PokerKing progressive knockout tournaments?

Go to the PokerKing client;
In the lobby, click on the “Filters” window;
Check off the “Bounty Knockout” format.

Another change on the Winning Poker network has been the restriction of access to its exclusive 7-Day Rathole cash game format. Now it is available exclusively for the flagship network - Americas Cardroom.

Key format features:

All players can take with them no more than 10 big blinds;
If you win more chips, then over the next 7 days you can sit at the Rathole tables with only the same number of blinds.

Starting April 4, 2020, the 7-Day Rathole tables are no longer available for PokerKing, Black Chip Poker, True Poker. The reasons for such a separation of Americas Cardroom over other poker rooms are not reported.
