Hold’em Manager and PokerTracker Merge
On August 21, holdemmanager.com posted a message that the two most famous trackers Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker have merged. The Art + Science Of Winning Poker is Holdem Manager's motto. Everything matches.
What is the essence of the matter?
The guys decided that if they unite their teams of programmers and all the support staff, then they will be able to achieve better results. Well, there is a healthy grain in this, but what about the competition? After all, we know that nothing else but healthy competition is capable of pushing any business towards development. The intellectual race of the opposing sides allows us, ordinary users, to receive ever better products. What will motivate developers now? Time will tell.
What should we do?
Nothing yet. Although it is quite clear that the day will come when we will receive the news that a new, more advanced version of the know-how tracker is coming out. And the old trackers will only be supported for a year and so on. For us, this means a painfully simple command to fork out once again. We remember that this already happened when Holdem Manager 2 and Poker Tracker 4 were released. It was necessary to upgrade "too cheaply" now or expensive later.
One way or another, the developers are not going to raise the price yet. But all good things, as you know, come to an end someday.
What else is interesting?
Nothing to worry about right now .. Oh yeah, PT5 and HM3 have no plans to release yet. It is logical, because now it will be a single product, and not one of those named.
As usual, you can buy Holdem Manager 2 or PokerTracker 4 with Skrill, Yandex, Qiwi, Webmoney, PerfectMoney, Moneta, Visa / MasterCard. Upon purchase, you will receive a couple of bonus points that you can use on your next purchases.
