SitNGo Wizard 2 added custom ranges for opponents

29.10.2013

The latest SitNGo Wizard 2 update added the ability to manually adjust opponents hand ranges. Now you can specify a custom hand range for any opponent with a simple range editor. If you've never used the SitNGo Wizard before, the Range Editor is a visual matrix of all possible starting hands in Hold'em. There are several sliders at the bottom of the editor to, say, highlight the top 30% or specify a specific range, such as 20% to 70%.

There are three ways to set the desired range:

1) Dragging the sliders at the bottom of the editor. The left slider indicates the hands to be excluded from the range, and the right slider indicates the hands to be included in the range.

2) Enter a range (as a percentage from 1 to 100) in the box to the right of the sliders.

3) Select / remove the desired hands from the editor grid by mouse click.

The first two methods of setting an opponent's hand range are using the Sklansky / Chubukov hand rating. The third method allows you to set any desired range. However, according to the developers of SitNGo Wizard 2, the third method has a drawback, when using it, it takes much longer to calculate, so the developers advise to use it only when it is really necessary.

SitNGo Wizard 2 is still in beta and after its official release, it will be available for free for all current SitNGo Wizard users.

SitNGo Wizard has a free 30-day trial, and if you like it, you can buy it in our store with Skrill or Webmoney for $ 99. One of the most popular features is the quiz mode, which will greatly speed up the learning of the ICM model. You can customize the training mode by difficulty, the number of players at the table, position, and other parameters.
