What is “Play with Friends”?

Play with Friends is a special tab in the 888Poker client that allows you to create private tables to play with your friends. In the client with play money the tab does not work. You can create only cash tables and Sit&Go tournaments. In both variants the number of participants is limited - no more than 9. You can play not only from computers on Windows and MacOS, but also from mobile devices for iOS and Android.

How to set up a Private Table on 888Poker?

You can create a private game for registered users. That is, the first step here is to open an account at 888 Poker. All your friends need accounts too - otherwise they won't have access to the game. There are two ways to proceed to registration: 1) select "Register" in the login menu after launching the client; 2) Click on the "Register" button on the official website of 888 poker. It is located in the bottom right corner of the main page.

Now let's create a table:
1. In the upper left part of the lobby click on your avatar. It is located between the arrow icon and the number.

2. A tab will open with your personal information. On it click on "Play with Friends".

3. In the new window you will be offered two options: 1) join the game; 2) create a new game. Click on "Create new game".

Further we will consider cash tables and tournaments separately.

Tournaments. The option is selected by default, so just fill in the fields:

• Think of a tournament name. We will hold an event in honor of Gus Hansen.
• Create a password. To avoid any problems with your account, do not make your password identical or similar to the one you use to sign in to the 888Poker client.
• Choose a date and time of the beginning.
• Specify the buy-in amount. The amount of the buy-in varies from 0 to $100.
• The number of participants. The minimum number of players at a table - 2, and the maximum - 9. So you cannot create MTT. Tournaments here are Sit&Go.
• Prize fund distribution. Four variants to choose from - from "winner takes all" to classical 50/30/20.

On the right side of the window there is a button "More options". In it we choose the blinds growth rate, timebank, the possibility of rebuys and addons. Also it is possible to make the tournament daily or weekly. At the end of all settings we click on the green button "Create".

A popup window will appear with congratulations:

When you click "Send" a message with tournament information will be sent to your email. Forward it to your friends and get ready for the tournament.

Cash. Click on "Create a new cash game".

There are less settings here:

• Let's name the private table. We're going to praise Tom Dwan.
• We'll come up with a password.
• Choose a start date and time.
• We will determine the size of the bets. We can play from NL2 to NL1000.
• We will specify the number of seats at a table. The same 2, 6, 8 or 9 people.
• Let's choose a time-bank.
• Designate the buy-in. Sit at the table suggests a stack of 40 to 500 big blinds.

Then we click on "Create". There will be the same notification, as at creation of tournament.

It will be sent to an email.
At the bottom of the settings window you will see all the cash tables and tournaments you have created.

How to join the table?

It's easy to join an existing table:
1. Click on an avatar, as you did when you created a tournament or a cash table.
2. Click on "Play with Friends".
3. Click on "Join a game".

4. Enter the name of the game and password. All information must be in the letter from the creator of the private table.
5. Click on the green button "Join".

If you entered the correct data, then in the lower part of the window there will be information about the tournament or cash table, where you registered.
