Poker Tracker reacted to changes in Party Poker

28.10.2016

As we wrote earlier, Party Poker is implementing a new policy whereby cash game players are displayed without nicknames in their hand history files. This still allows the tracking software to track your own play. However, many players thought this would make the HUD completely ineffective in ring games on this network, as it relies on hand history files.

Poker Tracker proved this to be untrue, as in the new October 7th release (version 4.14.20) it added a HUD for one session at Party Poker. This does not give as good a HUD as in other rooms, however, at least it allows you to track the game during the current session, and this information can be useful. Obviously, you can't get historical data about your opponents, but it's still much better than nothing at all.

These are not the only changes made in the new version of the tracking software. For Party Poker players, support has also been added to seat selection at 3-max tables and a couple of knockout tournaments.

Changes for other rooms

For 888poker players, support for the CIS lottery type BLAST has been added, now there are ICM calculations for them. In addition, the compatibility with the Romanian network client has been improved.
A package of changes has been made for the iPoker, including support for Iron Poker, Bet-at-home and the Belgian version of Ladbrokes Poker. In addition, problems with reentry tournaments, Omaha Hi / Lo games and some others have been resolved.

If you play Zoom Poker on a Mac, you may have noticed some technical issues. The good news: the support has been improved and things will be different now. In addition, the new release improves the detection capabilities of the Microgaming Poker Network tables. So if your HUD was not responsive to some of the tournaments, then you should be fine now.

Also made some changes in the replayer. It now supports 3-handed and 8-handed games, and there is no longer a pot odds problem when you get all-in from a short stack with a few more opponents in the hand.

If you want to get one of the best poker software with tracking and HUD, why not give Poker Tracker 4 a try? He constantly keeps up with the times and releases updates so that you can always be sure that you have the best software.
